Half fried rice
1 cup of washed rice (I use basmati)
2 tbls of butter or more if needed (or vegetable oil)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups of water
1/2 cup of milk
(The amount of liquid dependes on the type if rice you use)
Make the butter hot in a small pot that is on medium heat, then put in half of the washed rice (or more if you like). Fry it until it is a medium brown color stir it constantly. Then put in the water, milk, salt and pepper. Turn on high and when it starts to boil turn it to medium and when you cant see much water left turn it to low heat for 20 minutes covered. Or cook it the way you would cook rice.
