Easy Freezer Cake!
Asalamu alaikum..
Freezer cake
you'll need :
- normal biscuits (such as 'Marie' tea biscuits - 1 packet for 1 tajine / baking dish.)
- Chantilly cream (2 packets for 1 tajine).
- 2 tins of cream (َqishta).
- Fruit juice or milk 2 or 3 cups.
first of all you get a cup or a dish and you pour the juice or milk in it.
you soak the biscuits in it just for a few seconds (hold it with a fork) you lay them in the baking dish only one layer thick.
To make the cream :
So you whisk the 2 tins of the cream with the chantilly powder (Add some milk to it if u like)
You can also add fruit to it, or even cocoa powder
Then pour half of it over the biscuits.
Cover with another layer of soaked biscuits, then cover again with the rest of the cream mix. (Make as much layers as you like)
Then put in the freezer until frozen.
Get it out of the freezer for 10 to 15 mins befor serving, decorate with fruit, Chocolate crumbs or even cocoa powder on the top.
Enjoy!
Wa salam...

:mashsa01: this seems very easy to do.
I have all the ingredients except for Chantilly cream. Is this powdered cream? :003:

:mashsa01: we really enjoyed this cake.
In the last minute I had to substitute Tennis biscuits for the Marie biscuits, so there was a nice crunchy coconutty taste. I topped the cake with chocolate flakes and chopped nuts.
Yummy :yum-icecream:
Sorry I couldn't post a picture as I don't have a camera. :102:

Re: Easy Freezer Cake!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chantilly_creamChantilly cream or crème Chantilly is a sweetened whipped cream, sometimes vanilla-flavoured.
The one used in the recipe is a powdered version sold in sachets.
The tinned cream is the heavy thick cream such as Nestle make.
