weight gaining but healthy

salaam

is there any proven method of weight gaining but healthy, meaning eating good, healthy food and not just junk food since it will harm the body later in life if not now. people have said to me that i probably have a fast metabolism cause i do eat alot but hardly gain weight. (im 16 and weight around the 90s Crying or Very sad ) its frustrating when buying clothes or jewelery cause its hard to find my size. please help

Sorry sis naturedelight :102: we all seem to have been busy everywhere else but here in the kitchen lately Embarassed I think that you should see your doctor first and say that you are concerned about your weight - and they can find out if there is a cause for concern and if needed, will be able to advise you on suitable diet and lifestyle inshaAllah. Depending on the advise you get then perhaps we can find some tasty recipes inshaAllah. 8)

Wa alaikum salam wa ramatulah wa barakatu sister,

I too had this issue when I was your age up until I started changing eliminating allergens from my diet. I ate a lot but would not seem to gain at all most of the time and if I did it would leave by the next day.. I also had acne as well which I am wondering if you experience because it can be related to what I went through. I saw a naturopath doctor and he changed my life. After becoming more healthy I now gain weight when I eat in a healthy normal fashion. I recommend you see a naturopath and get tested for food allergies/sensitivities.
