halwa.........semolina dessert
salam
for those who like semolina
ingredients
1 cup butter
2 cups semolina flour
3 cups sugar
4 cups water
almonds or any nuts and raisins, cinammon
method:
Heat the butter and cook the semolina in the oil until golden.
Place the almonds to brown with the semolina.
In the meantime, warm the water, but do not boil, and dissolve the sugar in it and throw in the lemon and the cinnamon stick.
Pour the water into the semolina mix and stir well while pouring.
Keep heating until the mixture becomes thick.
Pour the mix into a Bundt pan and garnish with sesame seeds and cinnamon.
serve at room temperature

WOW Nadia... We make something similar,but we use Ghee in place of butter. :barakbr01:

Nadia lovely recipe thank you and i will be try it inshaAllah minus the Bundt pan because i haven't 1
Ghee is lovely but very rich in flavour, so i would only use a little if i made it with Ghee.

I made this dessert the other day! I'm still eating it today, cold but i prefer it that way.
I made a slight change by adding rose water and i used almonds & raisins.
Pls forgive my poor presentation skills!
