125g butter
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
1/3 cup caster sugar
1/3 cup oil
2 cups plain flour
1 cup self raising flour
¼ cup chopped walnuts
2/3 cup orange juice
1 cup honey
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts,extra
2 teaspoons sesame seeds


Preheat oven to moderate. Lightly grease oven trays.

1. Cream butter, rind and sugar in a small bowl with electric mixer until combined. Gradually beat in oil until mixture is light and fluffy.
2. Transfer mixture into a large bowl, stir in sifted flours, nuts and juice in two batches, mix to a soft though.
3. Roll level teaspoons of mixture into egg shapes, place on prepared trays, flatten slightly. Mark biscuits lightly with a fork. Bake in moderate oven for 20 minutes or until browned. Stand biscuits on trays 5 minutes before placing on wire race to cool.
4. Heat honey in pan until just warm, dip biscuits in honey to coat, place on wire rack over tray. Sprinkle with combined extra nuts and seeds.

Wa alay kuma salaam wa rahamatulahe wa baraktu,

Jazak'Allah khair....... I love honey yummm I tried this honey not to long ago called manuka honey it was nice. it had a dark color more rich in flavor its from Australia and New Zealand supposed to have different health benefits to it as well.
