Harimy (حرايمي)

Ingredients :

Fresh fish cut into 'steaks' (amount according to your needs if a main dish if a side-dish just use the heads) I used Sea Bass today - see pics
3 Ripe Tomatoes (liquidised in a blender with a little water)
2 tablespoons Tomato puree
3 cloves of garlic
2 or 3 Chilli peppers or more if you like
A few tablespoons of Olive Oil (or a mixture of cooking oil with a little olive oil added)
1 teaspoon hot (harr/ spicy) paprika powder
1/2 - 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
1 teaspoon salt

Prepare all of the ingredients before you start cooking (fish cut into pieces, tomatoes blended, garlic chopped).
Gently fry the garlic in the oil and do not allow to burn. Add the cumin and paprika and stir, then the tomato puree. Fry a little then stir in  the fresh liquidised tomatoes, the chilli peppers and the salt. Cook for approx 2 minutes until well-blended then place the pieces of fish in the sauce.
Cover with a lid and allow to cook gently for 5 minutes, then turn over the fish to cook for a further 5 minutes.

Serving suggestions:
May be eaten with bread or served with rice.
