Chocolate Nut Cookies

Simple Vanilla Cookies....Just dip them in melted chocolate and sprinkle your favorite nuts on top.Mmmmm.....Enjoy!!!

Prep:15 minutes , Cook:15 minutes , Makes:18 cookies



Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter,soft
1/4 cup sugar,grind it
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 tsp baking powder
Dark chocolate,melted
Almond/pistachio/peanuts/walnuts,etc;chopped
OR
Desicated coconut/Chocolate Sprinkles

Directions
Preheat oven at 180 C.
Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
Add vanilla and baking powder and beat.
Add flour,a tablespoon at a time and continue beating until you get a soft dough.
Mix well and make 18 equal sized balls.
Flat them with the palm of your hand.
Place on a greased baking sheet and bake on 180 C for 12-15 minutes till the edges of cookies turn golden.
Leave on the cookie sheet for 2-3 minutes to cool a bit,then delicately detatch them from the sheet.
Leave to cool on a wire-rack.
Dip the top in melted chocolate.
Sprinkle desicated coconut / sprinkles / chopped nuts .
Leave to set.

oh that looks yummy sister Ambreen and they sound simple to make insha'Allah. Jazakillahu khayr for sharing. Maybe I'll try those this weekend insha'Allah. tea-n-cookies

How did you dip them in chocolate :chocolate: without the chocolate getting messy (i..e on the sides of the cookie). Yours look so nice masha'Allah.

As to your query regarding :chocolate: ,this can be done by dropping melted chocolate with a spoon.You can also fill a small resealable plastic bag with melted chocolate, snip a small hole in one corner and pipe on the cookies to cover the top.
